You mean the word isn't the Word

Some people seem to deify the KJV Bible.
It's funny, but John 5:39-44 seems to disagree with these types of people.

I think this guy does a good job of refuting the strangeness of this thought process.

I like this statement here:
The KJV may have been a wonderful translation in its day, but it is a translation into 17th century English.
(You mean language is fluid and changing *gasp*)

Just to add a note.
If you like the KJV.
Use it.
Just don't push everyone else through the cookie cutter.
There are many varieties of cookies.
Quit trying to make everyone chocolate chip.
(I prefer Macadamia Nut!)

And if you don't believe in God, you must be crackers.
